Package Free Shop Custom Aprons
We are psyched to see the organic cotton aprons we made for Package Free Shop on Well + Good.
evangelist and owner of Package Free Shop - a store in Wililamsburg that practices what it preaches. Oh, wait, back up - what the heck is zero waste and what does that even mean?
The Zero Waste Movement aims to send nothing to a landfill, to reduce what we need/use, reuse as much as we can, to recycle if necessary and compost what can be composted. The goal of zero waste is to move to a circular approach to resources, that mimics nature. So, instead of discarding resources, we create a system where all resources can be resumed fully back into the system. Okay, got it?!
A month ago Lauren, was expanding to open a second shop in the 1Hotel in Dumbo. Since it was a new location, where her signage would be limited she wanted to create a new uniform for her employees. What does a zero waste evangelist do when she needs something NEW, like custom, organic aprons?!? She does what all sane and sensible people do- she called Boworkwear!!!!
I'm proud to say we put together a very very speedy collaboration (one week turnaround!) and supplied Lauren and her team with embroidered bistro aprons for their pop-up opening at the 1Hotel. It's always a treat to meet someone you admire, collaborate with them - and find out they are just as cool and inspiring as you hoped. Thank you, Lauren!!
