A Fashion Fundraiser For Save The Children
When our BoWorkwear Ambassador (and dear friend), Chef Monti Carlo saw the devastating impact caused by Hurricane Maria on her native island Puerto Rico, she had to do something about it.
Puerto Rico continues to struggle a year after Hurricane Maria – the largest disaster in the U.S. territory since 1928 – made landfall. In rural and mountainous areas across the island, children and families remain without reliable power or clean water. Dozens of schools have been closed by the government.
Ezequiel De La Rosa (Founder & Editor In Chief of Jez Magazine) and Monti have teamed up and created a fashion fundraiser that will be held on November 14th, at the elegant Waterside Lounge & Restaurant. The money will go to Save the Children. Knowing that recovery takes years, Save the Children will continue to partner with the most affected communities for years to come.
BoWorkwear will be involved in the silent auction. The winner will receive a white line red apron, same as the one Monti is wearing in the photo.
Miss Puerto Rico, Carol Alt, Alex Lundqvist and of course Monti Carlo will make a special appearance at this event. Get your tix here. Hope to see you there!
